A very beautiful dog and a lovely portrait of him/her, I think you have done an excellent job with this, I like the contrast against the dark bg, the dof is OK, well done - Richard.

Kim, IMO, this is much better, very much improved effort in Dog Portrait that you have been trying lately. Love the lighting, composition, catch light...
Im not sure you are the better judge... is there bit of dog nose effect!! I mean... Dog Nose... you know... hmmm... hey, dont laugh.. :-)
Overall, a great effort.
