I bracketed this shot, 3 frames in total, 1 stop either side of this one. There wasn't actually two much difference, but this one turned out the better personally.
The tower is straight, trust me, the horizon is what was causing me problems being bent! (or the photographer, but seeing as I resemble that remark I will let that slide). I have tried to make it stand up straight (the slouch!) but photoshop can't seem to give me a clean straight line on the monument after only a 2 degree shift. Pisa it is Piotr! thanks
Not sure where to put this comment, but thank you for your suggestions of my fungus picture. Your version looks great! I like it much better than mine. Hope you had fun in DC! Look forward to more shots of the city.
Nice monument shot! One suggestion ... next time try this a bit after sunset, while the sky has just a touch of light in it. By using Tungsten balanced film the sky will be a nice deep royal blue and the lights will be correct. I like your vantage point, looking through the bare winter trees.
Hi, this is a great photo. I really like the angle you shot from. It seems as though the horizon might be tilted. I tried to straighten it. (I am not too good in photoshop.) and sharpened it just a bit also. Beautiful colors!!
