About 5 friends (+me behind the lens) are tinny spots on the bottom of the image. It was -17?C or even more and there was still quite some way to climb... I rarely use people to get the prospective into shot... This one does have people to add some depth into it and also opens another question; HOW SMALL WE REALLY ARE COMPARED WITH THE NATURE? This could be a kind of an answer.

Hi Andrej,
prvo hvala za komentar, a drugo -17 C nije ugodno zad drzanje foto-aprata. No vi u Sloveniji nasviknuli ste na to. Trebao bih tamo kod vas pod kraj maja, pa se nadam da ce tada biti lijepo vrijeme. Do novih radova,

Hi Andrej, Good choice of using the people in the shot; I try to do that regularly, as it does work very effective in creating a sense of scale.... Not as the primary subject, but only as a method to "break the silence" a bit. In general, it also livens up the scene, and add tension to it; it makes people wonder what is going on.... Great scenery. Must have been a tiresome, but quite furfilling excersise. Great job.... My compliments!

Cheers,

Hugo

A great capture Andrej. The people really make the shot for the scale and the initial point of attention. Then their route up the mountain takes the eye right through the image. A bit of a steep climb I think. I particulary like the contrast between the whispy trees and the snow.
Best regards,
Graham.

WOW, excellent scene! Very dramatic and beautiful. The people do help
give the right perspective on the hugeness of the landscape.
