Another one of my 'experiments'. I've recently taken up developing my own photos. It's been quite fun and I've been using different types of film to see what kind of results I get. The film I used here was Solaris 200 developed in Kodak D-76. I used Photoshop for contrast, levels, cropping & the border.
Though it's a still life of a horse figurine, it gives off the illusion of something living. The processing I think gives it that 'life' in a way I can't put in words. I don't know if the sepia is a natural result of the D-76 acting on C-41 film, but it seems to match well with the subject matter and feel. Like the Misery photograph, the composition is really solid.
