What I did here Alison was stand on the opposite side when taking this and simply reversed the image (Upside Down)
Look closely at the sneakers.
Thanks for looking and commenting!

Hi Ursulla. Actually there is no effect here at all it is simply a reflection turned upside down! The sun was setting and the light was just right to make this photo> Thanks Ursulla for Your comments! My best to You,JOHN

Excellent! The shoes seem to anchor your son into place. Kind of holding him to earth! I see Daniel already said that, only better! Interesting effect! I love this series!

John,
This is another example of beautiful work. I get the feeling of space in this image with the refraction of the sky as well as the texture of the road under the water. The reflection gives the feeling of having the world in his hands and yet it is brought together and down to earth with his shoes in the bottom of the frame.

Excellent work!

Daniel

Hi John!

I like this reflections serie, specially the ones with movement. The bubbles/texture on the water amplify the sensation of energy, action.

Very nice!

Regards,

Jose Azevedo

It is as if you captured this from underwater. Great textures. Fantastic height perception. The silhouette with the vivid soles of the shoes is incredible. Imaginative and very creative.
