John!!!! I came for the fphoto!! what is up!! it is not that style of yours? Where is the sharpness? You are getting better!!! hahaha! You know I am kidding about sharpness. You are a master in any style. I meant that this time I was opened the thumbnail but I haddnt seen that it was yours.. I general, I can preview what is yours (well some times I mistake you and Lisa P. She is making a excellent job huh?). This time I was tanken by the deep poetry in the picture. Noerwegian air is good to your romantic side! :)
Long time whitout writting you! Me too I took a quite romantic shoot last lime. its called "Serena". I really enjoied readind the about. It is good to see photographers like you talking about emotions. you straig capture of the boat made it stronguer and more artisti. I think if you had used the third rules it would have became a tradicional landscape photo. But , no, this is "the BOAT" :)

A good camera will make the job of a good photographer easier but it will never make a bad photographer take a good photo. This one here is a very good exemple of what a good photographer can do with any tool available.

Cool shot -- great to see ya posting again. I was drawn originally to UF thru a link to one of your images from a site that I can't recall. I would not have found UF otherwise. I really like the images you post -- keep 'em coming. Thanks for the hook up to UF and all your great images.
I can understand your comment about the emotion in shooting an image. That is why, at times, we get it(the messaage of our own images) and others don't. The great shots are the ones that convey the emotion beyond our own head and heart to others. That is hard to do but we have to keep trying.
Keep those personal ones in the front and push them our way...Kev

It's amazing how the emotion shines through the technical deficiencies of the camera. Nice composition and lighting and the lack of resolution of the small negative actually adds something too!

I like most the central area of the photo, the area where the sky is reflected in the water, which gives this an abstract effect.
