Hi Sis! Congratulations on BIP award! I love the orbital curvature, close-up of these tubes that you present. The texture striations show an interesting contrast in an almost shadow-noir effect that resides as one among many perceptions. The intensity of light has a nice shadow overlapping the right side of image that makes for a mysterious presence felt.Your use of contrast with PP8 is just right.I looked at this image in small, medium and large and each presents for me different feelings. All in all, nicely done and deserving of a BIP!

Bright Moments!

Wow! Beautiful abstract Gayle. The blacks and whites, with middle tones, are in the correct places and the light is outstanding. A very clever shot. Congrats, Fernando.

Good one here -- great contrast and composition -- the best thing about abstracts is that they are everywhere -- you just have to look -- it's a curse though -- the more you look the more you see--another nite owl...kev

I really like the way the light falls on the ridges, and the equal areas in size and shape of the light and dark on either side. A great feeling of depth, as if you could fall right into those tubes. Excellent job!

A very beautiful abstract, Gayle. I like the overall theme, with the repeating patterns that the corrougations make. Including the inside of two tubes, each with a slightly different orientation, was a good choice. Finally, the wedge of shadow at left middle and the wedge of hightlight at right middle are excellent finishing touches to separate the two tube.s

Best regards,
SteveR
