Thanks again. As I said before, this is a permanent fixture in a small town and I've been by it many times. It's part of a tourist place to eat and sleep over.

The sun was in the right place so I decided to try to get creative and see what I could do with this D70 combo.

Now I can go back sometime and get more(if I'm so inclined).

nice. but i think it would be beter if you got the shadows even darker, with no details at all.
also i would try to crop even more ( i would have tried on the spot and not with PS)so you wil stay only with this yellow wal at the back, nothing else on the sides.
happy new year,
Uri.

thnks for your comments, and suggestions. I can see how they do not help the composition. This was about the first day that I have used this D70 digital.

Got to start paying more attention the the WB use and the Mode; taking notes may be helpful. Ithink I had it on Auto, so the WB was auto also.

I see what you wanted to capture, i just feel there is alot of miss in the shadow, if it was forming a complete form without the vertical and the left lines, it would be much better.
Keep trying Walt, you are doing great
