About
This weekend in San Diego Bay there was a re-enactment of cannon battles. We were not disapointed after waiting an hour for the show to begin, the boats: Hawaiian Chieftain, Lady Washington, Lynx and Californian sailed out and began shooting at each other. The booms were so loud that nearby car alarms were set off. This picture has only three of the four - it is missing the Californian. They were a sight to see with all of the sailors hanging from the huge masts. I will post one with the guys hanging on by just a rope...
You lucky girl!! You got to see those beautiful ships "in action". It's always been my husband's dream to sail the world in one of these old masters.
Great capture Shawn ... I love the lighting on the ships - makes them shimmer. Beautiful water too. Maybe a little crop on the left to take out the parked cars?
