... from my trip following the footsteps of the saint of Lunacy. I like how the slide has aged. Poorly exposed duplication I know but like the shines that come through. Also so love they way they did eyes in medieval times. Not a catholic but of western descent I dreamed at some stage of using the images for an affirmaing type of coffee table type secular unless it was collaborative book of hours or days for someone recovering from mental illness. I know this isn't a comforting image. That the Geel community has welcomed psychotic and the dissociated survivors of abuse since the 1200's is. Anyway so that's an old dream project. Maybe one day will do it.
I can only say..I love it,love the expression(not sure if aura is the fitting word)...love the way it is captured...love the scratched look..a favorite. Cheers,Ursula
