About	There was a stiff breeze blowing and the sky was clear. The sun backlit the flag perfectly. I metered for the white and then slightly over exposed the image to keep the whites clean but not blown out.

Very nicely composed, but I wish the sun had been in your favor to highlight the stars a little more. The reds and whites are excellent, but the blue field needs a little more light. Still a nice capture. Please look at my effort at capturing the flag, "Star Spangled" in my portfolio. I'd be interested in your comments. Regards.

I found it fairly challenging to take a flag photo: when the sun was right, the wind died down. You captured the backlit aspect very well, and that is an interesting crop.
