Photographer: John Cameron Cox (Karma=34)
Orlando, FL USA
About: I have been working in photography professionally since 1968 and have earned a BFA degree from The School of Visual Arts (SVA) in NYC in 1980... the 12 year program.
It is my firm belief that if you know how to use light, if you know how to use your camera and if you can light and shoot a sphere, a cube and a pyramid, you can shoot anything, anywhere, anyway anytime.
I have shot everything from food to architectural, from air to air to environmental portraits, from coffee cups to business portraits, from interiors of aircraft to interiors of nuclear power plants, and yes, even some weddings (yuch).
Some photo assignments include work for: PanAm, TWA and Eastern Airlines (Humph... they all went out of business after that...), DOW Jones, Johnson & Johnson and IBM.
What I choose to show here is my personal non-commercial work. Some funny, some serious, some beautiful, some snap shots and hopefully eventually some controversial. If you choose to leave a message it is welcome, very welcome. Tell me how they make you feel. Tell me why - why is important. Please if you wish to tell me how to crop my images or what you would have done differently please tell me why. I feal as though The elements of the images have been carefully considered and, generaly, this is what I want you to see. There is always room for improvement and if I can't learn from others I'm in pretty bad shape. Thanks.... I love the interaction. This site is fabulous! This is really going to be fun!!!
