About	I did it. Got up early in the middle of winter to catch the sun rise over the Gold Coast. I was feeling very proud of myself until I got mugged by two magpies. How rude! Quite spoilt my euphoria as I scrambled for the car. The Magpies are lovely birds normally but are very territorial and are holy terrors at nesting time, but at least I got a couple of photos.

Great sunrise shots full marks for the shots, getting up so early and being brave in the face of the magpies, I would have been frightened
