Many thanks for your comment, Sherri. The sharpness is certainly an issue, but George's suggestion of increasing the ISO setting helps to resolve this as it means a smaller aperture can be used. Nevertheless, it does seem that viewing through glass and water add an extra complexity. I've taken some more with increased ISO settings and hope to upload some in the future. AJ

Nice idea - very similar to Fabian Grunwald's "Diving session" The focus is a little soft but it's the kind of picture that makes you think "How'd they do that?"

Possibly, this one has the most suggested movement and is therefor most interesting.

Yeah, John. I've been experimenting with changing ISO setings, and it is amazingly flexible. In this case, a setting of 200 could give you as much as three stops. And that can give very good results. Even higher might work as well. Best of luck! --g

Hi George! Many thanks for your comment - I think you may have solved my problem! I've been playing around with different shutter speed / aperture combinations but had left the ISO setting on auto. I've just been back to check the original image here and see that the ISO got set to 64. Looks like it's time to try yet more of these... AJ

Terrific work! If only the aperture were smaller. Did you use a high ISO? Obviously the fast shutter was critical. I really admire this series. Cheers, --George
