Robin, I love the portrait. The b/w conversion is great. Your eye focus is superb.
It would be nice if his whole ear was in on the left, but I sure know how that goes. Someone on here once gave me the advice to always frame the photo wider than you think you'll need when shooting. That way you don't lose any parts of body parts. You can always crop later. Sometimes I actually remember that advice. :)
Overall, a really nice shot. Thumbs up!

I just love the tones and the crop and the expression here! Cute boy!
His eyes look just a bit oversharpened to me, or maybe it's just the reflection in them. At any rate...good shot!
