I love this. We have so many for me to get a good shot. Your details and colours and over all tone are beautiful. This belongs in a birder's magazine.

Marvelous! I love these little guys...jam-packed with personality, each one of them. Our up here look a bit different, with a very pronounced crest and a very deep irridescent blue, but I love this little one.

Great picture Darlene, the colors are very vivid, and the bird is incredibly sharp. Seperating it from the background worked very well with the selective DOF. One little disadvantage is the leaf which is hiding its one paw.

No Marilyn, didn't comb his feathers and I've got lots of these bluejays at my bird feeder! Today I had 5 of them eating, I think they're young, must have had a nest of them somewhere near! Thanks for commenting, I always appreciate it!! Darlene

A beautiful specimen and one that is not seen so often in these parts. The color is beautifully rendered--very soft in tone and texture. This one is a young'un, I guess. Lovely . . .

What a beautiful shot - perfectly framed, colors and details are super and the background sets this little guy off so well. I am trying to play catch-up on my responses to comments I have received. Now that my computer appears to be behaving I might get caught up before too much more time passes. Thanks for your comments - I always appreciate you for making them - and as always - I do enjoy your marvelous nature shots. Our peak in to a world that we probably will not see in person. Jan
