I like the overall dark, rich background colors, offset by the bright colors of the leaf.

Superb mood of fall, overcast lighting, bright leaf colors and misty weather on the rusty metal and weathered wood. Very evokative through a number of elements, and as always, great geometry and fantastic image quality. Love the black mystery space, wonderfully composed!

Thanks for the good word Kathy. A combination of health issues and other committments had my Canon collecting dust. :( But getting out today felt good and I stumbled into some good late autumn subjects and shot over 300 images, 90% of which went directly to the wastebasket as usual. But hopefully that still leaves enough showable material to post on Usefilm for a bit, that is if I still like them when I go back to them after a few days!

I'm looking forward to seeing some of your shots from today, Mark! How can you stand to go without taking any shots for a whole month?????
This is a good closeup and abstract. I like the rust and textures, and that leaf adds a nice "pop!" Way to go!
