Beautiful and intriguing natural forms, great technical perfection, eye-capturing. That "creature" I feel a distant relative of my Alien. Thanks for sharing: Gyuri

Thanks Mark for your comment! It made me realize the connection between the decay of the leaves and of the fruit, which are from different plants! Regards, Ina

Great macro. The details of decay are really sharp.

Nicely spikey and very suggestive of this time of year. We're getting into the post-autumn period now where most things are pretty much gone by and we're waiting for winter and the snows to start (a long gray and brown wait sometimes here in New England).

This shot is a great illustration of this time of year, I think. What was once verdant, then vibrant with rich color has now eroded partly away and in doing so provides some interesting abstract qualities and moods that I feel you have captured very well here. The inside of the spikey fruit now revealed is interesting and seems to compliment the holed leaves in mood and shape. And these plants have died but color remains still. Nice one Ina.

Magnificent! The mixture of colours is mind boggling and the diffuse light is such a bonus! This is worth to be turned into an oil painting!
Love from Gabriela

I like all three of your posts today, Ina. I keep going back and forth trying to decide which I like best. I think this one wins. I really like the rich tones in this one. Really good dof! Well done all the way around. Look forward to having you back on Tuesday!
