Mother Nature has worked her magic to ensure that probably nothing in this world has a greater attraction for us than our children, whether it be merely their voices calling our names, their cries at night that wake us up faster than any alarm clock or their images in our own or others photographs.
As a beginner in photography, the subject called “Children” attracts me more than anything else for their innocence, their expressions, their activities and simply their presence in a frame. Here in my little way, I am trying to portray them. This portfolio is only for them.
I am always inspired by the wonderful variety and colors of nature and landscapes surrounding us. Be it a text in a book on nature and an environment, movies, magazines and travel journals or painting and photography, nature and surrounding landscapes have so much to offer and most of the time if not all, it is of great artistic value. There is so much to learn in this kind of photography, and I am glad that I just stepped into this new venture with shaking steps. And I look forward for a meaningful experience.
Tried to concentrate on a single theme and planning to do it for a while. I am spending several week ends in Santa Monica and Santa Barbara. Trying to communicate with the subjects and ambience and I like the other aspects of it other than photography. It’s definitely more meaningful than shooting one or two shots and "forget about it" approach! Different days bring different opportunities and as I continue, I find it even more interesting and fascinating. Hope I continue this attitude, please bless me!
