Reminds me of Alfred Hitchcock's The Birds. Great detail and I like the different sizes of the creatures, from those in front to those in back. Have you tried converting it to a b/w? Maybe the little bit of color is needed, I'm not sure. This is really unusual. I like it.

Geeze... I'm blushing. Thanks for the great comments. Here's some answers to some of the questions:
1) Yes I used the flash. 2) No there was no digital manipulation. 3) The bird cooperated because behind me, people where holding up food! 4) The cam was set to Auto so I'm don't know the shutter/aperature. 5) The cam has a 'moving auto focus lock' so I focused on the center bird as he 'came in' for a bite and then snapped it when the other birds filled the view finder.
But, actually.. like my old man always told me....
A blind hog finds an acorn every now and then!
Thanks again for the great comments!

Very cool. I don't imagine too many would think to try this. Well done.

This is really cool. The lighting on this is great. Is this from a flash? Taken at night, I assume. The birds really cooperated also. This was done without digital manipulation? Really nice.

Wow! That's a tough shot to get! Great job achieving focus. Kind of freaky, though. The composition is just outstanding. The gulls sure cooperated.
