what attracts me to this is the shiney clear matalic feel to it, i do like the last of the four, that glowing wick, a rare capture, very well put together,. thank you for visit & comments, your portfolio is so deep, hav'nt finished looking yet, regards art,.

Hi Karen,
In terms of the Spirit of Christmas, the subject fits wonderfully; the cool thing about this series is that the tone creates a different feel; the dark duotone, the smoke from the dying candles as well as the selection of shots introduces the atmosphere of a ritual; and is much more moody than the spirit of christmas feel. And that's what I like about it. It takes (once again) the common out of the ordinary. Very inspiring work.
