Thank you for telling more about the story behind the photographs. One of the things that moves me is that although you are half a world away, much of the story is the same as my own. I'm glad you shared it.

thank you for the comment on my picture.for the technical side , this is the first photo with my new camera,so i'm still learning. the story behind the image is simple. the biggest photo in the right upper corner are my grandparents from my mothers side.i grow up with them living in our house.loved them dearly. on the right lower corner there is a picture of my parents posing whit their parents.All the way to the left is a picture of me and my parents,and in the front me as a baby.I think that i was very lucky to grow up with my grandparents close by. But now all that remains... are the memories and a few pictures.

I found this image to be profoundly moving due to the implied subject. Technically it could be stronger if the lighting was more even, and perhaps if you used an unsharp mask on it. The sepia tone fits the image very nicely. I'd love to know more of the story behind this image.
