-p, almost as good, but a bit less intriquing. The original shot was strongly desaturated with only some elements kept colored. Cheers, n.j

Nice perspective. I wonder what this shot would look like in B&W or sepia.

Ina, what I realy liked about the place was a indepth of the perspective with some tree clearing giving brighter lighting down the tracks. And the leafless trees looked more than cool but surreal. Shoot many options from different angles - the one is what I liked as final. Thanks for your comments.

This is an enticing image Andrzej. I am drawn right into the image by the tracks under the tunnel of trees. I love the splashes of colour in the left track and the blue sky. Great perspective and excellent detail. Another top shot.
Happy New Year to you and yours.
Cheers - Ann :)

Andrzej, this is a tremendous, stunning picture! I can't say enough about it! The rusty rails in the foreground are amazing, and the perspective/ tunnel effect is superb, but the enchanted forest, the trees are something from a fairytale! 7+++ and straight into my favorites :) Ina

Gabriela, I like your comments very much as those capture my intention very close. You kind of reading my mind or my expresion are very explicit - either way it's nice to hear that. My best regards, n.j

This is the kind of image I like, "Nature's Tunnel in Winter"!The tonality in grey is magnificent, with here and there a bit of colour - the dried grasses and the rusty railways.Very poetic! Gabriela

Thanks, you know what, on the next day there was snow in the area, but unfortunately the day was devoted to my business in Washington, DC. I was thinking about the scene with the first sticky snow on unused tracks and the trees. Anyway early in the morning on the snow day I shoot a couple street scenes in Washington. Mozesz je obejzec na Webshots (andrzejpr). Pozdrowienia. P.S You have good stuff on your pages, will look at yours later. Cheers
