About The lighthouse in the distance is at Fort Amherst Nfld, the entrance to St. John's harbour. Far in the distance is Cape Spear the most eastern point in North America. The picture was taken from Signal Hill National Park where Marconi received the first transatlantic wireless communications.

Having the information makes the picture more interesting. That one tree seems to be standing as a sentinal. It certainly has a great view.
