This is a stitch made from five pictures taken at the top of the Royal Observatory, Greenwich in Spring 2003. The Prime Meridian is just left of the picture. You have a great view of the park, the city, and the outskirts of London from up there.
Ohh and btw. Don't forget the leap second we'll have to tack onto 2005 on December 31!!
Picture details: Five landscape pictures with a resolution of 1200x1600 each. Exposure was 1/350s with an aperture of 7.1 and automatic ISO determination by the camera. PTGui was used to create a 5878x1179 panorama.
I'm hooked on these things - my new laptop's gotta be a widescreen!
Hope you don't mind a little niggle on this one - I have to scroll to see the whole image on this poxy little machine, but having done so I felt that the best of the image was already on the screen before scrolling. A long winded way of saying I'd consider cropping the right a little!
