It was very impressive indeed. As often with business trips, we had only one day (Sunday) to achieve most of our sight seeing. Consequently we did not spend nearly enough time at each stop. The Great Wall is definitely a place to go back to.
I will upload more Great Wall pictures today and tomorrow and will move to Beijing objects later this week.
Very nice image, Jurgen. I have meant to comment on this whole series, but just can't seem to get back to it. I really like them all and can only imagine what it must have been like in person. Nice work on all of them. You really give a sense of scale and magnitude in the compositions you chose.
Nice photo with different perspective. how do you get to this point in the wall from beijing? i might visit in the winter and want to go to some of the more interesting parts of this sight.
