Sorry, Bengt, DOF means "depth of field" not a very intuitive abbreviation! Yes, I think I'm seeing the black you used to cover up, maybe you could replace it with something a little lighter like very dark grey, it's a very slight nuance, but would make the picture even better, I think. But then, if you don't see them that would make it hard to do :).
Thank you Petra. i'm not familiar with the expression 'DOF', what does it mean? And to the 'stains', I don't see them, maybe you see some spots that I missed while I tried to cover the messy background..?
You've captured his expression well, it's clear he's into what he's playing. The DOF is good as well. What are the black stains behind him? They're not very distracting, just curious. Too bad the microphone features so prominently in the foreground, but I guess that would be hard to get around. Nice picture of a musician!
