Hi Hugo, thanks for the in-depth comment, it's always appreciated.
I have my camera bag stored inside a water proof cooler. I have my lenses, extra batteries, memory cards, film, etc. stored in there.
I had two cameras around my neck, a 300D and a Elan 7E, at all times, with my two primary lenses a 28-90mm + a 70-300mm. In my pockets I had disposable lens wipes, liquid lens cleaner, and a 2x teleconverter.
I had 1A filters on all my lenses, which I cleaned as long as I could, before finally replacing one of them towards the end, as there was too much junk collected on it to clean off.
Hi Chris, I like the pre-start stress, and the guestures / instructions given by the bow man to the helmsman. I like the little bit of bow leeward of the 12m in front. A slightly different angle, showing a bit more of the field could maybe emphasise the hectic start and the action, but in this shot, I'm drawn towards the beauiful lines and materials of the yacht itself. Superb high quality! What do you do to safeguard your equipemnt when you're out there on the water shooting these photos?
