About My first attempt in a mini home studio. Used a Canon infared transmittor to fire a 550 that was placed in a softbox on the subjects left with a gold reflector on the right. Took the contrast down a bit in photoshop.

Thank You, Molly. I agree on your ear comment. I think it would be better to have not seen his left ear. Next shoot, I will remember that.

very nice work!. I had some suggest to me once that when shooting a portrait shot to only have one ear showing,but your shor looks great I don't thing I would change a thing.
