About The more I looked at it, that's what I saw. The first panel on the left is green and full of energy. The 2nd panel some of the green is removed and grey steps in. The 3rd the face to me is pretty visible, with very little green, the 4th seems to be the result of the abuse, if one does not have help.

It's what I saw, your mileage may vary. No digital manipulation other than levels. This is glass block and I spot measured the light coming thru it and not the ambient light in the room Thanks for looking.

A very good interpretation of an excellent photo, Mark. The emptying of the personality, result of abuse; very good idea.
Thank you for your very kind comments on my recent photos.
Best regards,
Rafi

Thanks Mark, I wouldn't know quite yet what to change the title too. It really is what I saw. from left to right various stages. I really like using pictures as metaphors. Didn't mean deception in the least. I can only say and picture what I feel.

Thank you, for your strong and thoughtful response

Mark

excellent shot: marked favorite. i'd change title though, as it is too loaded & deceptive
