I was in the company of three freindly fox kits. I put some high smelling cat food. They were feeding on it. I slapped my thigh with my hand I noticed the nearby fox kit look up. So I thought if I do that again I will have my 105mm lens ready right in his face. It worked I was about 1 feet away at the time. I have just completed a movie about the foxes of Killarney.
Arthur's comments are about the same as I would have said about the little blade of grass near the fox kits eye, but otherwise a suberb shot. I would be very proud of this shot if it were mine!
Glen, I think this is almost perfect! The capture of the expression and the detail in the fox are really good. Unfortunately, the little twig or piece of plant that gives the blur in the photo, right in front of the fox, is quite distracting to me. For the rest, all those grass, flowers and leafs are making a really perfect surrounding for the fox. It's just that one little piece that disturbs me. Regards!
This is a most beautiful picture, Glen. I love the light. Very soft. It accentuates all the crucial parts of the little fellas face. The flowers provide a nice frame. This proves it. This fellow is innocent. You can find it in my favourites page.
