About Miss Molly has been in the nursing care center for quiet a while. I have gotten acquainted with her because my Aunt Jessie is a resident at the same center.
Miss Molly loves to talk to almost anyone, though she does get confused much of the time. But she always speaks and loves to be in photos when a camera is near. Tripod and cable release used, available light.

I like very much the fact that the woman is portrayed here with dignity, rather than sitting half dressed on an unmade bed.

I think that the colorful background is fine. My first reaction was that I'd have liked to see the background "defocused" a bit, but then a norrow DOF would have also blurred the walker, an important element here ... so I feel that it's fine as is.

i love this picture chuck - the old lady looks so petulent. i don't agree with karina - the background, the floor, the pillow on the bench and miss Molly's attire make this picture very real in a documentary sort of way.

Thanks for your kind remar about my posting. Unfortunately, there are few great places to photograph in a nursing facility.

Very nice portrait, although I would have chosen a different background. This one really screams for attention and that is a shame.

Nice shot. It's really cool you take time to visit your aunt.
