Nice framing, Gayle. I like the tonal gradation receeding in the distance. It sure gives the impression of dense rainforest. Eb

We all just want something to TOUCH us (just like the trees) This one is totally super duper !! Perfect crop and compo. I think the B / W is the way to go. Great menage of lines criss crossing randomly - like telephone wires crossing above rooftops in Katmandu. Great find, Classic !!! Mark

Yeah nice B&W.
I love the repetition of shapes and lines. Photographing in the forest can be hard to organise such visual chaos but you have done well here.

Well, it's the composition study that catch the eyes for this photo. two big trees like boarders and the branches between like the links between two worlds. a great seen and good exposure.

Very poetic composition with branches crossing from one tree to another, wonderful rhythm and pattern with curves and fantastic light tonality in the background. A classic! Best regards, Ina

I have a saying.. for people who have maybe hit the wall in terms of their work.. "Getting ideas is the hard part.. Landscape is alive with ideas" a rich ground of invention indeed.

hi,Susie...i do shoot B/W film now n' then, but can't get transferred to CD,so i mostly shoot color film and then convert via paintshop...i think film converts very well and am usually pleased with the tonal values achieved...Thanks for feedback! (don't know when i will join the digital camera age)

At least for today... ) Is this digital, or do you take pics with b/w film? This is perfect for the project patterns in nature. What a pattern it creates. Susie
