I'm with you Nan...anal. I like this image alot and old doors hold facination.

The cropped words on top don't draw much of my attention, so it's not a problem.

Bob is right about the lines leading you in. Very nice.

Its just you Nan. :) just kidding, I probably would have left the lettering to show as well, but I had never noticed it. What i like about this shot, and what makes it really nice is the angle it was shot. To me it creates a feeling that you are alomst being led into the bar.

the angles and lines he captured lead me into the door. In fact every time I look at this my eyes end up on that big brass door handle. (Now I need some fish & chips and a pint of ale)
