This is so incredibly unique! Well done kp. Love the different perspectives and the way you've positioned them within the grid. Nice work with a splash of red on the side too! Excellent stuff!

Cheers

Thanks Andre! Glad you liked the whole composition, along with the choice of colours as well! I was feeling that it'd be too dull/boring if the whole composition was to be in B&W. Also, red acted as a catalyst for the mixed kind of feelings portrayed in the series. :)

Regards.

An interesting composition Kanwarpreet.
I think it is a good choice to use red and black on a few, in combination with the B&W.
It is probably good that you stayed consistant with the use of colour in this case.

Hehe! No awkward feelings here! I understand what you mean. So glad I dragged your attention here! )

& I am also glad you liked my work here.. & I totally agree with you on your interpretation of representation of Red. Though my thinking into it is that the last pic(red) alone represents the tension & hostility & the related stuff & the other two red pics are something totallt contrast to it! What Deniz terms as contradiction of the situation! Mixed representations. :) This would probably be Psychedelically intellectual! )

Glad the collage caught your interest. The small movie that I have composed on the same topic is equally interesting. That makes me think how'll it be if usefilm also allows uploading of restricted sized video photography as well! ) Ok if only for donor members, but would give more space to spread our wings of talent & explore a whole new dimension of photography! Hehe! Anyways, thanks for appreciating the collage! :)

Regards.

Hi KP, yes I did miss this one. Sometimes I don't go on UseFilm for a day or 2 and then it's too much to catch up....)
This is interesting all right. You've really captured the essence of the metro/subway travelers. To me the red represents the tension and hostility that so often lives just under the surface, barely contained.
Nice job. See you soon!

You are right, the quality is not fit to print this one out on paper in large size, which is a pity, because I like its composition very much. Thanks for making the effort to show them!

Means so much when it comes from your Guru herself! :) One of the reasons that I went for a collage here was that the image quality (coming from a mobile phone cam) was not that high. But since it's from you I am posting the 1st pic as a new entry & posting some other pics as attchs in my self-comments. Pls check back in some time to view all. Thanks again Karina! :)

Very nice collage and good idea. I would like to see some of these photos in larger size, especially the one on the top left.

Chee! Thanks Janet! :))) Thanks for such a lovely compliment. Glad you liked the Red! Happens to be my fav. colour! (along with black & white! All 3 used here! ;D )

About the phone, even I'd not realized it till I had captured the image posted in my portfolio named Comfortably Numb! The colours & clarity in that pic is simply outstanding! This phone gives exceptional results under good lightning conditions.

Thanks again.

We are two like minded people Nebojsa! :) Using these stills & some video captures made during the same trip I have actually made a small movie! I have also remixed a song for the background (using Bhanjori by Tantra & beats from Club Halay by Quadro Turkish). Glad you liked the blueprint of it! Red actually! Haha.

Your creativity is amazing, kp, and the clarity on these with the phone are outstanding. Didn't realize that they could shoot this clear. Love the red ... adds a bit of pizzazz!

urbanization, caos, crowded. like the way you combine them and the red illustration professionaly fits with the contradiction of the situation. exhausting. i like that,
