I would not care too much of these burnt out kigh-keys because there is a quite big range of grays anyway. The harsh contrasts add a mood of a bright (autumn?-)day. It?s just a pity that the cropping is so tight to the left and right.

Thanks for comments, Sue - These frames are from the last roll of B&W I had commercially processed. The lab used a quick high-temp developer which left the tonal range on the negs really compressed. I did try to dodge the highlights during printing, but the detail just wasn't there to begin with. I'm processing my own film now, and have had considerable success with that. I'm glad you like the composition.

I like the comp and the subject, but I find the hotspots detract quite a bit. Can you dodge those a bit, either in printing or PS? Don't know if it's possible to fix it with cropping or brightness, since one of them is right in the middle of the shot.
