This portrait is taken 11.2.2006 in Porvoo, Finland from my second wedding where I have been hired as a photographer. The beautiful bride is Elina and this portrait capture of her is taken outside the cathedral only 15 minutes before the wedding ceremony. She was so nervouse that she was shaking. I somehow managed to make her relax a little bit so I could take this capture of her. Taken outside the Porvoo cathedral against the white wall, used natural light and a Canon 580EX-Speedlite. I used duotone function just to try out a different techniques. Critique and comments appreciated.
This is such a beautiful wedding portrait! Very classic elegance. The blue tone adds a special, modern touch.
Thank you for sharing that you used that 20D custom function. I have the same camera, and have been playing around with this function in the b/w mode. I hate post processing, and would love to be able to get good results through the (digital) camera. You have remotivated me!
