I like the crop, you don't needto show the whole glass. I think this is the stronger compositionally of the two you have posted. The colors between subject and background work great. Yellow and blue are opposities and make for excellent contrast. My only critique would be the lighting on the subject. Try more side lighting with a big soft source. Also a small mirror or silver card can be placed behind the drink to give it a 'glow'.

Yes nice colours, but I'm a little disturbed by the crop in the bottom, should you leave the glass in the frame or not? I suppose you wouldn't have been able to get this background with a different angle...

I think the water came out just perfect! I love the pattern to the lighter areas. My only wish is that there were a more sunny glow to the drink, fruit and leaf. Nice work.
