About Thank-you Mark. It was Mark Sherman that gave me the ideas for this picture. I have really enjoyed doing it-some things I could manage, some I couldn't! The original photo was of a nearby alley with a distant horse. I added the rest. It is an alley midway between my house and my parents. So Mark's idea of my Dad surprising me with a horse was very appropriate! From dawn to dusk is the attempt. The idea is that it is mostly a dream.

Thanks for looking and writing Annemette. It was based on an idea by Mark Sherman which I loved that my Dad was giving me a horse. But you've given me an idea to do two versions- just the horse - you are right it is beautiful on its own.

Dear Mary
I really appreciate the work you´ve done making this photos so dreamy! Only I would not have included the people(your parents?) because the entire fairy talescene is complete with the beautiful white horse and the green tunnel.:-)
Very nice!
Best wishes,
Annemette

Thanks Mark- just brilliant- I could look at them for ages. The variation and ideas just stunning. Some reminded me of your work. The feeling or something. "In my dream" at the beginning. PS. Did you see we're both in that page you put me on to before?!

Good to hear from you Mark. Really pleased you looked but I wasn't sure you'd like it- thought it was a bit "pretty" myself! Wait til my Dad sees it- I will have to act well hard! Like the idea of a legend going with it- matches the dream like bit. "Passing the torch" is very apt for YOUR idea. Haven't got the hang of sizing properly yet- they come out a bit different. No, I'd never manage photography classes- wouldn't know what they're on about- I just cut bits out and stick them on! Any more of my Dad...well I'll have to see how good he is! Thanks for the idea and for writing Mark- very much appreciated.

I truly wish I could do that, that did come out dreamlike, when you mentioned it before I never dreamed you would come up with this.

You really got the pose of your dad and you perfect, there is a sense he's really looking at you, a sense of kindness. almost a sense of passing the torch. And you young maiden with blonde hair in the light. cant help but throw a little Arthurian legend in.

So are you going to start taking or are taking photography classes?

given your dads cool expression are you going to do some more shots of him, regardless of whether you post here. Even though its a small shot it seems to be a genuine one.

Mark

Thanks Paul- good to hear from you as always. I like it- "capture a dream world"- good words and summary. So get out your guitar and write a song along those lines- might be as good as your Elvis favourite! (Hope messages getting through- my computer broke down and I am only good with hammer and nails!)
