This is definitely one where the larger panorama dimensions help us "see" the photo. The sky-blue uniforms are the technicians, right? In Japan they would be the ones wearing that shade of blue. The cops would be in those grim grey leathers. I like the little blue whirly lights on the backs of their motorbikes!

Not quite as romantic as the Royal Guards of London. Good human interest photo, John. Cheers, Ann.

Hi Hugo: thanks for commenting on this one. The strip at bottom left is the top of the wall around the compound. I cropped this as tightly as I could without losing any of the bikes. The noise is a bit of a surprise, although the compound was some distance away. But along with softness this is something that has been concerning me for a while with the A2. I don't know if it's me or the equipment... John

Hi John, very cool shot, and a great composition (if not for the small strip of the balcony (?) in the lower left corner) Very good details in the full size pano version, too, but the noise surprises me a bit at 100 ISO. Interesting scene, and the separation between the two groups, as if split by the foremost pillar of the gas station is quite amusing indeed... Nice shot!
Cheers,
Hugo
