Looks good. Whenever I take semi-transparent object, I try to take them with light shining through them, either from ring-flash or from sun. I'm not sure yours was semi-transparent. It stands out very well on its background. I'm with Martin concerning the color. I think it might be corrected on P.S. by applying "Auto levels."
Thank you, Ron, for your comments on my three recent photo. "Man on bicycle" was not post processed. This is the way I found him on my camera. ""Beauty with hat" I also find tired or sad, but that might be part of her beauty.

I like the colors of these flowers, sort of pale pink which matches well with the green background. Nice Shot Ron. We have several similar variety here some are dark red
