Thanks Dennis. I'm glad you liked it so much. This colour is really that red but to capture the same you have to choose the right direction of the light that's why I couldn't avoid the distraction in the background. The colour remains that vibrant when I project the slide at the size of 10 ft. And in a typical lighting situation like this sometimes good old transparencies works better than the most advanced digital format. Since you are an avid admirer of rich colour produced by the reversal film, it thrilled you that much. Love your nice appreciation.

Haven't been on UseFilm for a few days and I missed this one - WOW, what an impressive image. Is the colour of that plant truly that deep of a red? This looks like the kind of reds I used to get with Kodachrome film. Superb composition, I really like the plant on the right being in sharp focus mirrored by the plant on the left being blurred... I'm not sure why I like that, but I do. Perhaps this keeps drawing the eye back towards the plant in the foreground. The colours in the distant background also add some nice visual interest and unique accents to the photo. Of all your photos this is one of my favourites so far! Great work my friend.
