las composizione è suberba bastava la foglia da sola per fare un ottima foto ma c'è anche la lumaca ad impreziosirla..se si fossero viste anche le corna sarebbe stata da national geographic!

Thanks for you interest and comment James. The picture is not cropped or enlarged. This is the back of a waterlily's leaf covered by an invisible vail of water. That grain is in the leaf.

The only I would change for this abstract is the color. Of course it is not your fault that in nature it looks like that :)

what say dear giuseppe is fantastic.
really remarkable. the colors (your prerogative) is very good and balanced. the composition faultless (from manual).. everything is in the third.. but to part the technical digressions (what I do not love much) the juice of the photography is remarkable, a very beautiful microworld..

Was this enlarged after a crop? It seems grainy or that the resolution is somehow lower than in your other shots. It is a very good composition with a great color palette.
