Wonderful details and textures in this delightful composition. A great title Alison my dear but when I first saw it Heart of Stone came into my mind:):):) I love the beautiful dab of colour in the leaf, such a lovely romantic, moody shot. My very best wishes to you as always......Ray

A great find, Alison! I think I would have put it a little off center, too, but that's just personal taste. Good capture of the details and textures of the rocks and leaf, too.

Colors, light and details are good. The centering of the large rock and leaf distract from a potentially artistic image. I think I would have cropped the right side more severely.

Very crisp,good DOF.
I wouldn't have centered the leaf.
Did you find the leaf there or put it there?
Maybe even nice without the leave?
Maybe light from one side for some more texture?
Just some thoughts.
