Thanks Leo. I also like to cast an eye over what was being uploaded a year ago, but very rarely seem to spot any of my own images! Thanks for commenting on this one - it's a technique I picked up from UF photographer Dan Lightner who unfortunately does not appear to be posting at present.

Ah ha, Doyle, you have to have been around here a while to know that one! But when I first signed up, the name John Miller was already being used, so instead of John I used my initials AJ, and used to sign myself off as such. Then when I became a donor, I could use my real name, although I sometimes wish I'd stuck with AJ...

Yes, light below the glass. The Rain-X tip is down to UFer Dan Lightner who is a master of this technique.

Great idea . . . Love these shots . . . I'm going to have to do one one of these days. This is nicely done . . . I assume light source BELOW the sheet of glass . . .
I had tried it before but didn't get the bubbles . . . the Rain-X is a good idea!

wow - this is cool, excellent pattern IN the waterdrops and also the pattern they create. Maby a little harder contrast had incresead the look a little.
