What a beauty. A very powerful portrait. black and white is so good.

I like what you've done. Her hair, however, is blending in with the background. Nicely done though

This would be my second favorite. The background has a couple distractions but not too much.

She has a great expression and the contrast and tones in this image, and her eyes draw you into the photo. You should try sharpening it with a USM a bit , though I am sure your original is sharp, it would present better online if you did a bit of sharpening.

you've caught a moment that is quite revealling and still private in some way.. like eyes that are growing up ... that little moment you see it for just a second.. or a peek into the future... i would love to see just a little more detail in the shadows of this image... because i think even more of her stroy is hidden in them as well... especially her eyes... still this image has some real soul, and shows that you have a great eye and sense of timing....

Nice portrait with good contrast, could be sharper and the background could be lighter, hope this helps. Good looking ten year old.

They grow up so fast. Enjoy them while you can. Great picture. Don.
