Even though her face is somewhat blurred, the drama of the image really comes through. In particular, I love the perception of height that come through here. I do a lot of work with Indian classical dancers, and well I love to look at dance photography in general and the emotion and power that comes from it. I particularly like how you are able to capture it in so many of your images. Inspiring.

Hello Suzanne, welcome to UF. This shot is amazing. It seems you have a really good eye and/or you have been taking photos for a while. The composition is perfect. I take a few theatre shots and know how hard it is to capture movement as well as you have when you don't have control over the lighting and limited control over camera location. I love the dark dress and the dark background it puts focus on the body positioning.(Which is pretty impressive too). The lighting on the dress was handled very well. Hoping to see more soon. Cathy
