Kay, I hope you go back and read the comments on this. Jeff rules! However, he defines redneck as "glorious absence of sophistication" Have you ever known a Brit without sophistication? Please don't pick on my Brit friends.

Ray, some people think of rednecks as poor white trash, however those days are quickly disappearing. Redneck term is "a glorious absence of sophistication". A high tech redneck joke I read today said "you might be a high tech redneck if your computer has a sticker that says my other computer is a laptop". Hope you see the humor.

No onion Michele...just another olive that I picked out and plopped in my mouth as it would not keep spinning. Glad you thought it interesting.

Klaas. a redneck martini is green olives in beer. Guess that might be a cocktail. I've had salt in beer, but prefer the olive.

Paul, a redneck martini is green olives in beer. Redneck is the "glorious absence of sophistication". I hate gin, which I am told is the key ingredient in a martini and a martini is a sophisticated drink, yet I like olives and I like beer

Ha- you Brits never cease to make me laugh out loud! A Redneck is someone who, while not dumb, is definately "back woods" or like a hillbilly. Have you not heard of the "Blue Collar Comedy Tour" that we have here in the states? Jeff Foxworthy. Google that name and you will get a face full of what REDNECK means!!!

A wonderful looking composition with interesting effects and lovely tones my dear Marlyce. It does fit into the abstract basket very nicely but please, I am ignorant of what the term 'redneck' means. I live a very sheltered life in the UK:):) Oh, I have seen the term used before now, I just know it to be a humourous usage, but that's all. Hope you can provide an answer to a long time standind question of mine sweetie. My very best wishes to you as always.....Ray

Good idea Marlyce, and very good crop, but like Paul said:...."What is a red neck Martini", probably some kind off cocktail. Take care,
