About	Class Project: Nightshoot Another (frustrating) night shot. This one was shooting into the West at dusk. This is an old gnarly ironwood tree in my neighborhood. Lots of character and looks like it would be perfect for Halloween. Long exposure time and general frustration with sensor-noise. Lots of post-processing in Photoshop to remove the noise. This was 1.5 secs at f/4.8

Thanks very much, Lana. I love this old tree. I've taken a lot of shots of it but this angle seems to capture it's essence. Silhouetting it makes the branches stand-out against the sky. It really defines them. Thanks again and see you in class. ~ Warm regards, Rocky
