A Tribute To Man Ray
I was experimenting with a Photoshop technique to give an image a similar effect as that of photographer, Man Ray.
Man Ray was one of the most creative and influential photographers of the last century. He pioneered a technique of solarization that quickly became THE technique of the psychedelic 60s. It is a half mixture of solarizing a black and white image with the original. I highly recommend doing a Google search on him. I was fortunate enough to see his work here at our local art museum. ~ Warm regards, Rocky
I'm shocked that I am the first to be commenting on this image.... fantastic. Just recently used a similair effect on my portfolio profile photo so maybe that's why I was drawn here... not disapointed in the least... should be an award or two coming your way for this... the effect is amazing when put together with this subject.
Have not seen any Man Ray.. though going to search now... sure you have done him proud with this one though... again I have to say it... Fantastic!
